Cosby keeps role as a social critic

"Bill Cosby says his public proddings on the failures of fellow blacks are consistent with what he has done as an entertainer for more than 40 years, and he will continue on that path.....

"Mr. Cosby said the poet Maya Angelou told him, 'You know, Bill, you're a very nice man, but you have a big mouth.'

"He said he doesn't mind that role.

"Of his critics, Mr. Cosby said, 'Let them stay mad.'"

Bill Cosby went against the Black Taliban's party line. That is why they are upset. There is a portion of Black America that is silent because of the Black Taliban. We are all supposed to think in a certain way. If we don't, we will be criticized as being "not down for our people" and "not Black enough (sound familiar?).

Well, I have my doubts about them being down for our people, but unfortunately I have not appointed myself the Keeper of the Blackness.
