"Cyimbogo Genocide Memorial Site in Nyakarenzo Sector of Rusizi District was on Thursday evening bombed by a grenade.According to the Nyakarenzo Sector Executive Secretary Jean Batiste Hategekimana the memorial, containing remains of over 2000 people was attacked between 7.30 and 8pm by suspected Rwandan insurgents operating from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)."
